Nina Greif, DO, DABPN, is a transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) specialist serving clients at LiveWell TMS in Huntington, New York. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with a degree of osteopathic medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at LIJ-Northshore in 2008 with a concentration in psychodynamic therapy.
Dr. Greif has been in practice for over 10 years. Throughout her career, she has worked with many different populations including clinic, day hospital, private practice, and consultation and liaison patients. She approaches patients holistically and considers their past and present experiences as part of an integrative model of treatment that includes careful listening and understanding of each personal experience.
Depression and anxiety have been her main focus. She understands the biological and environmental causes of depression and anxiety. Though depression may be rooted in the brain, she recognizes the importance of the mind in its generative process.
She has helped many patients achieve their potential through motivational techniques that lead to empowerment in her patients’ lives, and she looks forward to providing life-changing TMS treatment to her patients at LiveWell TMS.
