DR. NINA GREIF
Dr. Nina Greif, a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with a degree of osteopathic medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at LIJ-Northshore in 2008 with a concentration in psychodynamic therapy. She has been in practice for over 10 years. Throughout her career, she has worked with many different populations including clinic, day hospital, private practice and consultation and liaison patients. She approaches patients holistically and considers their past and present experiences into an integrative model of treatment that includes careful listening and understanding of each personal experience. Depression and anxiety have been her main focus. She understands the biological and environmental causes of depression and anxiety. Though depression may be rooted in the brain, she recognizes the importance of the mind in its generative process. She has helped many patients achieve their potential through motivational techniques that lead to empowerment in her patients lives.
DR. ERIC GREIF
Dr. Eric Greif, a Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology, is a board-certified neuroradiologist, with a degree of osteopathic medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Residency training at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY in 2017. He completed his neuroradiology fellowship training at Northwell Health North Shore University Hospital in 2018. Dr. Eric Greif is a co-manager and consultant to our practice. His main focus is in interpreting neuroimages of the brain and spine, utilizing Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) modalities. Dr. Eric Greif has a patient focused model of care and aids us in localizing the exact area of the brain that we need to target for TMS therapy, particularly in off-label indications.
SUSANNAH SIMPFENDERFER, TMS TECHNICIAN
Susannah Simpfenderfer is a technician at LiveWell TMS. She is a recent graduate of Stony Brook University with a degree in Health Science with a concentration in emergency and critical care. She has previously interned and worked as an Emergency Medical Technician in upstate NY where she grew up, as well as here on Long Island, while she developed her passion for mental health. During her time working as an EMT, Susannah met many people from all walks of life which allowed her to experience different varieties of medical concerns, including mental health matters. From these experiences, she grew her passion for mental health and hopes to have a positive impact on the people she will come in contact with during her career. Her main goal at LiveWell TMS in New York is to create a comfortable, reliable and professional environment where the patients will feel at ease while they are being treated, while also helping them into remission.
CATHERINE RASMUSSEN, OFFICE MANAGER
Catherine Rasmussen is a professional Medical Biller who has experience in several areas of the medical field. In April 2010, she decided to recreate herself. She went back to school and received certification for Medical Billing and Coding at Branford Hall Career Center. She was granted a place at the Presidents club, and achieved a 4.0 GPA for all of her hard work. Over the course of her 10-year career, she has developed a desire to create a better way to approach all of the diversities in her field, such as Billing and Coding for various specialties so that all reimbursements are processed correctly and received. Catherine also multitasks by answering phone calls and managing our scheduling. She is excited to be part of the team and help with making it possible to provide TMS in New York for those who need it. She is friendly, kind and has a great sense of humor that puts our patients at ease.
